U.S. Air Force 72nd Anniversary Posters

Air Force 75th Anniversary Poster Series

The “Frontiers of Blue” poster series was created as part of a series of posters celebrating the U.S. Air Force 72nd birthday. Each poster represents one of the Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOM). 

1. Air National Guard: The MQ-9 Reaper is an armed, multi-mission, medium-altitude, long-endurance remotely piloted aircraft that is employed primarily against dynamic execution targets and secondarily as an intelligence collection asset. The Air National Guard is one of the seven Reserve components of the United States armed forces that augments the active components in the performance of their missions. 
2. Air Force Space Command: The X-37B, also known as the Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV), is a reusable robotic spacecraft. It is boosted into space by a launch vehicle, then re-enters Earth’s atmosphere and lands as a spaceplane. The X-37B is operated by the Air Force Space Command for orbital spaceflight missions. AFSPC’s mission is to provide resilient, defendable and affordable space capabilities for the Air Force, Joint Force and the Nation.
3. Pacific Air Forces: The Raptor performs both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions allowing full realization of operational concepts vital to the 21st century Air Force. PACAF’s primary mission is to deliver rapid and precise air, space and cyberspace capabilities to protect and defend the United States, its territories and our allies and partners.
