The U.S. Space Force 5th Anniversary Commemorative Posters honor the milestone of five years since the founding of the USSF on Dec. 20, 2019. As the first new branch of the U.S. armed services in over seventy years, the USSF is committed to securing the nation’s interests in, from and to space. 1. Service Components: Through Service Components, the U.S. Space Force coordinates and integrates space forces into planning and current operations within geographic and functional combatant commands.
2. Guardian Values: The Space Force was established on Dec. 20, 2019, creating the first new branch of the U.S. armed services in 73 years. The Space Force secures the nation’s interests in, from and to space. To support this mission, the Space Force released the Guardian Spirit handbook providing guidance on how to live the four Guardian values; Character, Commitment, Connection and Courage.
3. Called to be Guardians: In 2022, the Space Force unveiled its official song, named after its motto “Semper Supra”. The song was created to capture the esprit de corps of both current and future Guardians.
